Organize your fridge to reduce the chance of poisoning everybody

Thanksgiving is just round the corner — and many of us are searching for shared experiences to bond with our loved ones.

So I thought I'd share with you one of my favourite holiday traditions — not getting food poisoning.

But one simple way to decrease the chance of poisoning your family is by organizing your fridge.


A fridge with an entire raw turkey on the bottom shelf, ready to eat foods on the top shelf, dairy on the middle shelf, eggs kept in a seperate container on the middle shelf, and veggies in the crisper drawers.

How to organize your fridge to reduce the chance of food poisoning

Once you've organised the fridge, you can make the change permanent by labelling the shelves with a sharpie, or by just being the sort of person who remembers things like that.
