Turn off in-app rating request popups
History often sits on a knife's edge. A single decision can change the course of civilizations. Had those decisions been interrupted by a request for a rating, history may have changed dramatically for the worse.
A timeline where President Kennedy had been interrupted — "Love Missile Command Pro? Rate us!" — could well have ended in a barren hellscape.
Give yourself the same attention you would have afforded JFK during the height of the Cuban Missile Crisis. Turn off in-app ratings request pop-ups.
How to turn off in-app ratings and review requests on iPhone
Turning off in-app rating and review requests on an iPhone is easy. Here's how:
- Open
Settings
. - Navigate to
App Store
. - Turn off
In-App Ratings & Reviews
.
There's no option for this on Android
Android phones don't have an option to turn off ratings requests.
Instead, the next best thing you can do is to respond to the requests when they first appear, and proceed to the Play Store to rate the app.
Apps can only tell if you navigated to the Play Store, not if you actually left a review.
You won't be bothered again.
